These are my confessions of all the chaotic, crazy, hilarious, events being married to a Marine and a Stay At Home Mommy to three kids entails.

You Make Me Feel like a Teenage Dream

So I know it has been a while since my last blog. Being a mama of 3 keeps my days super busy between school, homework, cooking, dance class, baseball practice, and chasing a toddler....I barely have time to shower!
My husband and I finally had a date night this weekend. We went with some friends to a piano bar called Howl at the Moon. It is a dueling piano bar that plays songs we all love to sing at the top of our lungs in the shower thinking we are the next American Idol (haha)
Four DosXX later and I was on stage singing "Don't Stop Believing" with my girlfriend. It was awesome!!! The crowd loved us too because they were intoxicated as well and thought we sounded pretty damn good.
It was so nice to get out with my husband and be a couple. The next day went grocery shopping by ourselves (Nana kept the kiddos) and had lunch together. We were like giddy teenagers sitting at our table eating our lunch together.
On Sunday we took the older two to a birthday party at a roller rink. My husband and I decided to partake in the fun and rollerblade ourselves. We were holding hands and flirting like it was an 8th grade dance.
Maybe that was all we needed, alone time. I think once you get married and start a family, the two of you forget to make time for one another. It does not always mean that you and your spouse have grown apart, the relationship just needs a little TLC. I love my husband with all my heart, and yes I am proud to say that after 10 years and 3 kids, he makes me feel like a teenage dream....sigh....
Till next time...
xoxo
